Aviation fuel scarcity disrupting our operations, Air Peace tells FG – Cable

Air Peace has appealed to the federal government and aviation authorities to urgently intervene in the lingering scarcity of JET-A1 fuel, saying the development has disrupted the operations of airlines in the country.

In a statement signed by Oluwatoyin Olajide, chief operating officer of Air Peace, the airline said despite the airline’s efforts to source aviation fuel for its operations, some of its flight schedules were affected by the scarcity.

Olajide urged the federal government to address the situation to save the operations of airlines from grinding to a halt.

Olajide solicited the understanding and patience of passengers, saying Air Peace was concerned about the situation and had been working round the clock to ensure its flight operations were not adversely affected by the scarcity.

She assured that despite the huge amounts the airline was spending to get fuel from alternative sources, it would not relent in giving its passengers exceptional services.
